It features four selectable on-grade band widths from rough grade to super fine grade to suit your job. The versatile LS-B2 works easily with any machine so you only need one receiver for any job. Whether mounted on a grader or dozer for leveling or an excavator for digging, the LS-B2s quick release clamp allows simple setup from one machine to another. As part of an integrated machine control system, the LS-B2 cant be beat for accurate, one-person control. Using a laser as its reference, the LS-B2 visually provides the machine operator the grade information needed for continuous work, freeing the grade checker to work elsewhere. Because the LS-B2 provides grade information to operators as they work, their results are far more accurate. That accuracy means fewer passes to reach grade and fewer mistakes to bury, which translates into material savings and increased production. Topcon LS-B2 sends a signal to the Topcon RD-2 in-cab remote display to put grade information right in front of you.

When the RD-2 is connected to your machines valves, a switch on the front panel allows operators to select either manual or automatic control, depending on the application. Also, the RD-2 features switches to manually raise or lower the machine cutting edge. These switches override automatic control. With LS-B2 + RD-2 fewer passes are required to reach final grade so operators benefit from the LS-B2 timesaving simplicity.
